For your pupils and the children, who are in your charge, we have created a specific activity in english with the following theme : "wild plants and forgotten vegetables".
As a one-hour play activity we invite children to :
- become aware of wild plants and food bio-diversity
- identify a certain number of ancient or contemporary vegetables in the vegetable garden
- take part in our tasting "lesson" and snack inside the farmhouse.
This formula, particularly adapted to children, works very well at all ages. It will enable you to introduce many educational themes : food and diet, nature studies, environmental ecology, botany, agriculture, gardening, history, geography, etc...
